Neoclassical style — the style that is influencing much of interior design today — is a melding of romantic history, orderly classics and a dash of grandeur from Renaissance Italy. Found in homes where the traditional elegance of the past is highly valued, the look creates balance and refinement. Design elements like egg and dart moldings, stone mantels and columns, and elegant burnished gold leaf finishes create interiors with a legacy.
